I just bought my first DJ Lighting unit. A E145 Eliminator. The instruction sheet tells me that the 'Duty Cycle' is 10 minutes on 10 minutes off. What does that mean? On the box it says that with the integrated fan I can have it running all night long.
I don't have a board to run it through, I was just wanting to hook it up to the clubs' lighting rack and plug it in on the nights I DJ there.

Never mind, called the manufacturer and they said that the box was misprinted. Can't run all night. and it does have a 50% on/off duty cycle. I'm going to plug it into a power strip where I can turn it on and off from the stage without having to use a board. thanks anyway
